Intestinal Helminths Survey among Dogs in Dong-Dae-Moon Area, Seoul

Abstract
|
|
|
The incidence of intestinal helminths among dogs were surveyed in Dong-Dae-Moon district.
Twelve ordinary and 199 imported dogs were examined in their excrements. Helminthic infection in ordinary dogs showed much higher incidence than that of imported dogs, and incidences of female and male dogs were 20.6% and 6.8%, respectively.
Six species of eggs and one sp. of larva found were Toxocara canis, Ancylostoma caninum, Trichocephalus vulpis, Clonorchis sinensis, Diphyllobothrium mansoni, one unknown sp. ovum and one rhabditis larva.
